The Vancouver Island Race Series is celebrating 35 years in 2016, and we will see a change as we are featuring seven races in the series. We are sorry to see the Merville 15k leave, but the remaining races are unchanged and will continue to see strong competition as well as a large, loyal contingent of recreational runners from all over Vancouver Island. The series will run every two weeks from January to April, with distances ranging from 5-kilometres to a half marathon. The series kicks off on the second Sunday in January, January 10th with the Harriers Pioneer 8K. This is followed by Cobble Hill 10K, Cedar 12K, Hatley Castle 8K, Synergy Health Management Ltd Bazan Bay 5K, Comox Valley RV Half Marathon and Sooke River 10K. We encourage all runners to run with us and celebrate the 35th Annual Vancouver Island Race Series.
